You know deep down that your teen is thoughtful, capable and ready for this next step.
But as the reality of university draws closer, letting go feels harder than you expected.
You want to trust they will settle in.
You want to feel confident they can cope - socially, emotionally, academically.
You want to exhale, knowing they have support beyond the packing list.
This coaching programme offers that support - for them, and for you.
Just imagine if your teen stepped into university with real confidence.
They know how to manage their time.
They’ve got tools to handle stress.
They believe they belong there.
They call during their first week .
They’ve been to a welcome talk, met their flatmates, even signed up for a society or two.
They’re keeping up with their reading list and already have a rough plan for their first assignment.
They sound steady. Grounded. Like themselves, but with more certainty.
And you?
You can finally breathe, knowing they’ve got this.
I’m Charlotte – coach, ex-teacher and someone who has walked this exact path.
As a quiet teen, I went from a tiny sixth form in a small town to a large Russell Group university in a big city.
I know first hand how disorientating that leap can feel, especially when you’re used to a familiar routine, close-knit friendships, and structured school support.
As a former secondary school teacher, I’ve seen how teens are often spoon-fed to pass exams, with little time to build the independence they’ll suddenly need at university. They’re expected to ask questions, manage their own time, think critically - and adjust to all of that while living away from home for the first time.
Your teen absolutely has the resources within them to do this.
But that doesn’t mean they have to do it alone.
That's why I created this programme - not just for teens, but for you too.
You know your teen better than anyone.
I know the education system, the emotional pressure points and what quiet teens really need to thrive.
Together, we can create a calm, confident start to university that truly fits them.
A personalised, strengths-based approach has helped countless quiet teens I've coached feel more confident, capable and ready for what's next ...
and it can do the same for yours.
Drawing on over 20 years of experience working with quiet teens, I take a different approach from the one-size-fits-all advice they've often had at school.
Because the leap to university isn't just academic - and quiet teens thrive with support that sees the whole person.
By the end of this 3-month programme, your teen will have:
Your investment: £600 for 6 x 1-hour coaching sessions to be booked over a 3-month period.
Give your young adult the precious gift of confidence ...
to know who they are
to know what they want
to know how to get there independently.

Charlotte's coaching has been gentle and kind but powerful and effective, helping my daughter reframe the future from a daunting prospect to an exciting adventure.
It was amazing how quickly Charlotte was able to understand what's important to our son which meant the advice she gave was relevant and easy to apply.

The programme is designed to be flexible. Your young adult can book sessions as they go, choosing times that work best around their lectures, move-in dates, and any unexpected shifts in routine. They can also choose to start some of their sessions before university begins (to prepare their mindset), if this is helpful.
Life at uni can be unpredictable, and I completely understand that. All I ask is 48 hours’ notice for cancellations; this helps me manage time fairly and offer the same flexibility to other families. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will still be chargeable.
Each session is tailored to your teen’s specific needs, but here’s what you can generally expect.
We begin by checking in: what’s going well, what’s feeling hard, what’s shifted since the last session. From there, we might explore:
Study routines that work for their learning style
Time management and planning around lectures, assignments and downtime
Strategies for managing overwhelm, loneliness or imposter syndrome
Tools for asking for help, making friends or speaking up in seminars
Anything else that’s coming up as they adjust to uni life.
Some sessions are practical, others more reflective. But every session is calm, non-judgemental and led by what your teen needs most that day.
Not quite. While university induction weeks offer useful information, they can be fast-paced, one-size-fits-all, and a little overwhelming, especially for quieter students. They may also not feel confident enough to express their thoughts and anxieties in front of others.
This coaching is something gentler and more personal. It provides a consistent space to pause, reflect, and process what’s going on, with someone who truly understands how big this change can feel.
Yes, gently. You’ll be invited to a check-in at the beginning and end of the 3 months, so you can stay connected to the process without stepping on your teen’s growing independence. The coaching itself is teen-led, to build trust, autonomy and self-belief.
You’re not alone. Letting go is one of the hardest parts of this transition - for you, not just them. If you’re feeling anxious, uncertain, or stuck in conflict, I also offer 1:1 parent coaching sessions (£150/hr) to support you through this stage with more clarity, calm and confidence.
